Purpose

The telemedicine process on MedSift is designed to enable health seekers and hospitals to engage the services of consultant doctors irrespective of distance. Doctors can set their availability, and patients can book appointments for telemedicine consultations, making healthcare more accessible, especially in emergencies.

    • Service providers and health seekers must read and accept the terms and conditions when setting up bookings and making payments, respectively.
  2. Description of Services:

    • Users choose the service provider of their choice and decide when and if to share their medical records with the service provider. Users should turn off the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) feature when done.
    • Doctors are responsible for providing detailed prescriptions after the consultation via the prescription box or chat in case of technical issues.

    • Users can create a service provider account if they have the required licenses.
  5. Intellectual Property Rights:
    • All intellectual property rights related to the MedSift platform and its content are owned by MedSift or its licensors. Users are granted a limited license to use the platform in accordance with these terms.
  6. Termination of Service:
    • The doctor can cancel an appointment, and the full payment will be returned to the client.
    • A client can cancel an appointment; however, a percentage of the payment will be forfeited if the cancellation occurs after the service provider has approved the booking.
  7. Dispute Resolution:
    • MedSift should be contacted for disputes arising from transactions conducted fully on the MedSift platform. For failed transactions, disputes will be settled with the user's bank.
